The three fans are situated under the power supply unit. The rechargeable
battery is fitted in the right-hand fan subassembly. 

Proceed according to the following steps:

Action

Result

Place one hand under the right-hand
fan; with the other hand, insert a
screwdriver (DIN 5265, blade width
3.5-6.5 mm) into the right-hand unlock
fan opening.

When the screwdriver is pulled
out, the snap hook is released. By
pulling on the round hole on the
underside of the fan subassembly
it swings down and can be pulled
out.

Connect the red connecting cable to the
battery.

The battery is connected.

Insert the fan subassembly in the
housing with the tab situated at the rear,
and swivel it up.

The fan subassembly locks in
place.

The following figure shows how to release the fan lock:
