System unit of RM400 C models
The system unit of the RM400 C system models contains a built-in frame which can
accommodate up to six OLR magnetic disks. Before you can remove the magnetic
disks you must open the system unit by taking off the front panel.
Opening the system unit
Carry out the following steps to open the system unit:
Ê Open the door of the drive, as described in the Operating Manual.
Ê Turn the green key in the lock next to the diskette drive to the right.

Ê Pull the front panel of the system unit towards you, away from the cabinet, and
lift it out of the groove at the bottom.
Closing the system unit
When you have finished replacing the magnetic disk, reassemble the system unit as
follows.
Ê Place the front panel in the groove at the bottom of the system unit and guide
it onto the front of the system unit until the diskette drive is again flush with the
front panel.
Ê Turn the key in the lock to the left to secure the front panel.
