When you unpack your system, check that the shipment is complete and
undamaged.
Do not throw the packaging materials away. You may need them later if
you ever need to move your system to a different location.

If the shipment is complete and undamaged, you can start installing the
system.
Ê
If the shipment is incomplete or damaged, inform your local SNI office immedi-
ately, fill out the complaints card and send it to SNI.
Your RM400 system shipment should include:

RM400 system unit with power cord, stabilizers and two hinged keys (black key
for the control panel, green key for the drive bay door)

RM400 C Models Operating Manual (Reliant UNIX/SINIX)

manual “RM-Systems Safety Instructions”

graphical monitor
monitor, connecting cable (monitor to system unit) and operating
manual, keyboard with connecting cable and (depending on the
console) a mouse
or
alphanumeric console
terminal (V.24), keyboard, power cord, two connecting cables
(keyboard to terminal and terminal to system unit) and operating
manual
–
operating system Reliant UNIX or SINIX V5.42 on CD-ROM
Delivery information and manual: “Reliant UNIX Installation and Operation -
RM200, RM300, RM400” or the corresponding manual for SINIX V5.42
