Making a call
You can make a telephone call with the handset picked up or in the
cradle.
If you make a call with the handset picked up, the number you
want to call will be automatically dialled six seconds after you have
finished entering it. You can also press
? to start dialling imme-
diately.
If you make a call with the handset still in the cradle, you must give
the signal to start dialling yourself, after entering the number.
Dialling with handset picked up
The number you have entered will be checked. If you have entered
an IP address incorrectly, the error tone will sound. You can then
correct the IP address.
Once the call has been placed, the standard display for an active
telephone connection will come on the screen.
