Motor drive units

 

•

To prevent the other wheel from turning, secure it with several wedges.
Do not apply the parking brake.

•

Remove the wheel, four screws as shown in (Fig. 8).

•

Remove the six screws that hold the motor. Two of the screws can be accessed through 
a hole in the toothed wheel.

•

Remove the complete motor unit inward through the opening in the chassis.

•

Install the new motor with the six screws.

•

Install the motor power unit (D102) or battery charger (D201). Refer to (Fig. 7) for 
electrical connections.

•

Install the wheel with the four screws.

•

Remove the block of wood.

•

Reattach the covers.

Repairs to the motor power unit

The motor power unit should not be repaired. If the motor power unit is defective (with the 
exception of 4 A fuse), the entire unit should be replaced.

Exchange of motor power unit D102

•

Remove the front cover.

•

Disconnect K101, 102, 104, 106 on D102.

•

Remove the two front screws (1/Fig. 9).
