Driver
Note
A suitable driver must be installed for a PCMCIA card.
Note
When purchasing a device that can be connected via a PCMCIA card and for
which there is no driver installed in Windows CE 3.0, make sure that the
manufacturer of the device supplies a Windows CE PCMCIA driver (Version 3.0).
For more detailed information on installing drivers, refer to Chapter 10.
Inserting a PCMCIA Card
Follow the steps below to insert a PCMCIA card:
1. Fit the card with the contacts to the front into the slot guide.
2. Push the card into the slot until you feel it lock in place.
Removing a PCMCIA Card
Follow the steps outlined below to remove a card:
1. Before you remove a card, make sure that it is no longer operational (close
down the corresponding application).
2. Press the ejector button so that the card extends out of the slot.
3. Pull the card carefully from the slot.
Note
The two PCMCIA ports (under the protective cover and in the battery
compartment) can be used at the same time.
Caution
If you encounter problems with the PCMCIA card after dropping or jolting the MOBIC T8 heavily, check
that the PCMCIA card is inserted correctly and restart the MOBIC T8.
