On-line Calibration
The On-line Calibration feature may be used to routinely check, and if necessary adjust,
the Span calibration in RUN mode, without interrupting the material flow.
Select the On-line Calibration feature:
Access
Press
Enter the weigh bin reference weight, (the amount of material the bin holds between the
High and Low levels), in units selected in P005.
Access
Press
Enter the Max., High, and Low limit setpoints as a percentage in parameter 357.
Install a weigh bin, (bin or silo equipped to
provide a 4 to 20 mA output proportional
to weight), preceding the material infeed.
Connect the weigh bin to one of the mA
inputs on the optional mA I/O board of the
Milltronics SF 500: either mA input 1,
terminals 5 and 6; or mA input 2, terminals
7 and 8.
Install a material feed control device,
preceding the weigh bin.
Note:
•
Press
twice, to enter a parameter number directly.
•
Whenever you wish to change a value, press
to enable the EDIT mode.
