Solution

The glass must be replaced with a new one.

Procedure:

1.  Remove old glass surface.
2.  Apply heat transfer compound to the NTC resistors (618647).
3.  Cover heat transfer compound with foil (which comes together

with the glass spare part set) to prevent contact with the new
glass surface.

4. Attach new glass surface.

Caution with the safety brackets

(they may damage the paint).
