When planning a project, proceed as follows:

Use a suitable radio test set to measure the local radio wave propagation (field
strength measurement) in the building.
●
Plan how to split the radio coverage into individual radio cells.
You will need this information for the number and positioning of the radio
gateways.
Note requirements in standards (e.g. fire sectors according to EN 54, local
specifications etc.).
The radio gateway may only be operated on a loop in the FDnet. Since the radio
gateway and connected radio detectors form a stub, this configuration must never
be used in stub operations. If it is, an impermissible 'stub-on-stub' topology will
result.
