11.5 Replacing non-stationary C-NET devices of
different types
Procedure
● Detach C-NET device
● Delete C-NET device on Person Machine Interface
● Installing a new C-NET device
● Read in C-NET devices. This step need only be performed once.
● Connect PC to the 'Station'
● Load configuration from the 'Station' to the PC
● Replace C-NET device in the 'Zone'
● Load configuration from the PC to the 'Station'
● Disconnect PC from the 'Station'

chapters to which reference is made below.
11.5.1 Removing the C-NET device

Uninstall the device you want to replace.
The 'Station' detects that the device is missing and reports a 'Fault'.
You will find more information about installing and uninstalling in the
documentation for the corresponding 'C-NET' device.
11.5.2 Installing the C-NET device
Install the new C-NET device.
You will find more information about installing in the documentation for the
corresponding 'C-NET' device.
11.5.3 Replacing C-NET device in the 'Zone'
1. Select the 'Zone' in which you have replaced a device in Cerberus-
Engineering-Tool. The 'Find' or 'Find and replace' functions can be used to do
this.
2. Replace the C-NET device.
