Filling test or zero gas creates an overpressure in the filter element. As soon as the
overpressure is high enough, it presses the exhaust gas out of the filter. This switches
the gas flow through the filter element to the opposite direction. This method serves to
determine the zero point and various other test points when using suitable test gases.
