is suitable for the combustion of wood pellets in a natural state and
split logs (w<30 %); materials not suitable for combustion are: wood dust, wood chips, solid-
liquid- or gaseous fossil fuels, etc. In addition no PVC-containing waste products, cardboard
containers, paper, coated wood, etc. must be burnt; the wood must be free from foreign bodies
(nails, screws, ...).
•
The optimum boiler temperature is between 70°C and 80°C.
•
The minimum boiler return flow temperature at the boiler inlet must not fall below 55°C in
operation, otherwise wood firing can lead to the formation of condensation in the boiler (causing
soot and tar formation). The correct fitting of a functional return flow boost is a pre-condition for
the manufacturer's warranty.
•
Ensure there is always an adequate supply of fresh air in the central heating room.
•
The boiler must be operated with a buffer reservoir!
•
When working on electrical/electronic equipment such as the motor, auger, suction fan or on the
control unit the on-site main switch (heating emergency switch) must be switched off!!
•
The pellet (quality) used must comply with the quality certificate "EN plus A1" based on the
European Standard EN 14961-2 A1 for wood pellets or ÖNORM 7135 and DIN 51731.
•
The pellet storage space must conform to ÖNORM M 7137.
•
A warning sign must be placed on the door of the pellet storage space.
•
Before entering the storage space ensure it has been ventilated for at least 15 minutes!
•
When working in sealed storage spaces and containers or underground tanks a second person
must always be in attendance outside the storage space.
•
The doors must always be open when you enter the storage space.
•
The storage room must not be filled to the ceiling. The pellets must not be pressed into the
space too forcefully, as over-compression can lead to bridging.
•
The pellets must not be blown into the storage space under too great a pressure. Ensure that
the equalisation opening (from the storage space to the outside) is not displaced or blocked.
•
No waste products, cardboard containers, paper, material, etc. must be placed in the storage
space. The storage space must be laid out according to the recommended guidelines.
•
Avoid naked flames and lights (such as electrical connections) in the pellet storage space and
observe the general safety guidelines (especially fire protection) for storage spaces.
•
Before refilling the storage space accumulated dust must be removed, observe the pellet storage
space safety notice on the pellet storage space door.
•
The response of the thermal discharge safety valve is to fully open the heating mixer. The
pumps must continue to run. Do not top up with fresh water under any circumstances! The
thermal discharge safety valve must be inspected 1x per year by an expert for functional
fitness.
•
In the event of frost at night heating should be provided.
•
If the system is shut down for a long period the boiler, flue duct and flue should be thoroughly
cleaned. The boiler doors must be closed throughout this period and no water must be drained
off.
The warranty is dependent on correct installation by a qualified installer (heating engineer)
and operation according to the instructions.
