10.1
Stoking instructions for automatic log ignition after pellet start
Open the filling hatch and check the ash layer
•
Filling chamber prepared for log operation
The ash layer in the fire pan should not be
thicker that 10 cm. The burn-through hole
must be clear! If necessary, pull the ash with
the stoking tool through the opening in the
centre and out of the channel into the ash
tray below.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the grate and
leave about 1 cm residual ash in the pan.
This reduces wear.

Load kindling wood
Fill the fire pan half full (5 to 10 cm) with
kindling wood. Do not use wood shavings,
saw dust or material that is chopped too
small.
The pellet burner consumption hole (bottom
right) should be closed for it.
With the kindling wood embers are created
quickly so cleaner combustion can be
achieved more quickly.
The most suitable are chopped wood (figure)
clippings or coarse wood chips
•
Insert logs lengthwise into filling chamber
The combustion chamber is designed for 33
cm (TDA15/25) or 50 cm split logs
The cut surfaces of the logs should face
forwards.
Set logs to the right boiler wall above the
inserted kindling wood near the pellet burner
consumption hole and stack it loosely.
The insertion of square timber, round timber,
broughs and big woodchips up to a diameter
of 15 cm possible. If broughs and big
woodchips are inserted, it is only allowed as
layers between the logs.
Wood gasifier principle:

executed downwards.
