<Note>
Once the engine has started, do not turn the Starter switch to the "START" position.
Check that the 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency
monitor lamp
is flashing.
Operate the generator for approximately five minutes to warm it up.
Restarting After Stopping due to Fuel Depletion
This generator is equipped with an automatic air venting function. Although the engine is
automatically stopped when the fuel is depleted, you can perform the following procedures
to easily restart the engine.
Turn the Starter switch to "STOP".
Supply fuel.
Turn the Idle Control switch to "ECO".
Turn the Starter switch to "RUN".
Turn the Starter switch to "START" and crank the starter motor for 10 seconds.
<Note>
Do not continuously operate the starter motor for more than 15 seconds.
If continuously operating the Starter switch, wait 30 seconds or more between operations.
Remove your hand from the Starter switch when the engine starts.
<Note>
Once the engine has started, do not turn the Starter switch to the "START" position.
Wait for approximately one minute until the air has been completely vented from the fuel
line. (The engine speed stabilizes once the air is vented.)
<Note>
Do no operate the engine at high speed until the air is completely vented (speed is
stabilized). Operating at high speed could result in a malfunction.
7-2. Stopping the Engine
Turn the Output switch to "OFF".
Turn the Idle Control switch to "ECO".
Perform cooling operation of the generator for approximately five minutes.
Turn the Starter switch to "STOP".
After the engine stops, close the fuel lever.
<Note>
If the engine does not stop when you turn the Starter switch to "STOP", close the fuel
lever with the engine still running. It will stop after a few minutes. If this occurs, stop using
the generator and contact the authorized distributor where this generator was purchased
or one of our sales offices.
