Turn the Output switch to "OFF".

Open the fuel lever.

Turn the Idle Control switch to "ECO".

Turn  the  Starter  switch  to  "PRE-HEAT".  The  pre-heating

monitor  lamp

  lights  up  for

approximately five seconds and then turns off when preheating is completed.

Turn the Starter switch to "START" to start the starter motor and then the engine.

<Note>

Do not continuously operate the starter motor for more than 15 seconds.

If continuously operating the Starter switch, wait 30 seconds or more between operations.

Remove your hand from the Starter switch when the engine starts.

7. Operating Procedures

4.

Do not operate the generator in poorly ventilated areas such as indoors or

tunnels because the exhaust gas of the engine contains substances that
are harmful to human health.

WARNING: EXHAUST GAS POISONING

Do  not  allow  flammable  materials  (such  as  fuel,  gas  or  paint)  or  highly

combustible  materials  near  the  generator  because  the  muffler,  exhaust
gas and similar parts become extremely hot.

Position this generator on a level surface so that it is one meter or more

from walls and any other objects that could hinder operation.

WARNING: FIRE

CAUTION: EXHAUST GAS POISONING

Do  not  allow  exhaust  gas  to  be  emitted  in  the  direction  of  persons

nearby or private homes.

Position the generator on a stable level surface and be sure to apply the

wheel lock to the wheel so that the generator does not move.

Before  starting  the  engine,  be  sure  to  always  turn  off  the  switch(es)  of

device using the generator and remove the power plug(s) from the output
outlet(s) of this generator.

Before using this generator, check that the frequency of  device using the

generator is the same as that displayed by the frequency

monitor lamps

 of

this  generator.  If  the  frequency  is  different,  change  it  by  using  the
Frequency Selector inside this generator.

CAUTION: INJURY

Do  not  touch  the  engine  or  surrounding  parts  while  the  generator  is

operating  or  immediately  after  the  engine  has  stopped  because  they  are
still extremely hot.

CAUTION: BURNS
