For the types of engine oil, refer to "6-1. Engine Oil Inspection ".
Replace the packing with new packing every time you replace the oil.
Packing part no.: 6C090-58961 (Kubota part no.)
After tightening the oil drain plug, be sure to always operate the engine for a few minutes
and check that there is no oil leakage.
9-2. Oil Filter (Replace)
Drain the engine oil according to the
procedures of "9-1. Engine Oil (Replace)".
Open the front door.
Remove the oil filter by using a filter wrench.
Apply a thin film of oil to a new oil filter gasket.
Screw in the oil filter by hand until the gasket
contacts the seal surface, and then tighten a
further 1-and-1/4 rotation by using a filter
wrench.
Add the engine oil.
Always be sure to operate the engine for a few
minutes to make sure that there is no oil
leakage from the seal surface.

Please contact the authorized distributor where this generator was purchased or one of
our sales offices if you do not have a filter wrench.

9-3. Air Cleaner Element (Clean/Replace)
Open the air cleaner clips and remove the air
cleaner cap.
Remove the air cleaner element.
Clean or replace the air cleaner element, and
install in the reverse order of these procedures.
