● PO WER L AM P : The green lamp lights up when the machine has properly recognized the
reader/writer units.
● B U SY L AM P : The red lamp fl ashes when the reader/writer is communicating with the
Management Chip. Do not remove the Management Chip when the lamp is
blinking. I n addition, do not turn the power off or perform any other
operations on the machine.
● EM P TY L AM P : This lamp lights up when either the credits for the Management Chip reach
zero or when an error has occurred with the Management Chip reader/
writer.
