Fresh Water System

in a home.  Automatic pressure sensors keep the 

system pressurized.  If the system has been re-

cently filled or has not been used for an extended 

period, air bubbles may accumulate at the pump 

and the system may have to be reprimed.

Whenever the boat is left unattended, the fresh 

water pumps should be turned OFF using the 

Czone control feature.

CAUTION

DO NOT ALLOW THE FRESH WATER PUMP TO RUN DRY.  THE 
FRESH WATER PUMP WORKS ON DEMAND AND WILL NOT 
SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE TANK IS EMPTY.  THIS 
CAN RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE PUMP.  ALWAYS TURN THE 
FRESH WATER SWITCH OFF WHEN THE FRESH WATER SYSTEM 
IS NOT IN USE.

Cockpit Sink 

The sink in the leaning post is supplied by the fresh 

water system.  The faucet pivots and folds down 

to allow the hatch to close.  To use the sink, open 

the hatch and rotate the faucet outlet up.  Make 

sure the fresh water system is activated.  Open 

the freshwater faucets to supply fresh water to 

the sink.

Cockpit and Head Compartment Shower 

Operation

There is a shower spray head located in the head 

compartment and in a recessed compartment on 

the port side of the leaning post. Each shower has 

hot and cold water and a retractable shower head 

with an ON/OFF valve.

Make sure the fresh water system is activated, 

then turn the water on.  Adjust the hot and cold 

water faucet until the desired temperature is ob-

tained.  Some minor variations in the water tem-

perature may occur as the pressure pump cycles.  

To conserve water, use the valve on the shower 

head to turn the water on and off as you shower.

Shower water is drained by a sump pump system 

located below the head compartment sole.  An 

automatic float switch in the sump controls the 

pump.  The pump is protected by the sump circuit 

breaker in the cabin DC panel.  After showering, 

let  the  cold  water  flow  for  a  period  of  time  to 

flush the drainage system of soap residue.  It is 

essential that the shower drain strainer is cleaned 

regularly and the sump is inspected periodically 

for accumulated debris that needs to be removed.

Fresh Water Washdown 

Fresh water washdown hoses are located on the 

port side of the hardtop above the leaning post 

and in the anchor winch compartment.  Both hoses 

are equipped with automatic retracting reels.
