6.2A HOLD-DOWN ADJUSTMENT
Ensure that the hold-down is correctly adjusted for the relevant material.
NEVER allow the ends of the material to pass beyond the hold-down when shearing. This may
cause serious damage to the machine. Always feed material from the hold-down side.
Keep the blade area clean. Do not allow buildup of mill-scale.
Stay within the rated capacity of the machine.
The quality of the cut is usually an indication of the condition of the blades or their setting.
