Controller panel. Has a status panel for operation using a touch panel, and if the panel is
opened.

Status indicator. Shows the operating status of the system using different colors of the light
that it illuminates.
• Green: Analyzable
• Yellow: Preparing for analysis
• Orange: Sleeping
• Blue: During analysis
• Red: Error

(power button). Turns the power on and off. When the system is powered on, it is
illuminated in white, and when it is off, it is illuminated in orange.
Note:
Even when the system is turned off, a standby current is flowing to the instrument.

A log in numeric password is requested on the Start screen. The initial value is "00000". To
change the value, refer to

Front panel. A semi-transparent panel that enables inspection of an installed sample. If the
front panel is removed, the parts of the autosampler, such as a needle and high-pressure
valve, can be maintained.

Sample rack. Holds sample vials and microtiter plates.

Rack LED. Illuminated if the sample rack is inserted. After the autosampler needle starts to
move, and until injection is completed, the rack LED for injection flashes.
Note:
Do not remove the rack while the rack LED is flashing, because doing so can damage
the needle.

Pump. When the door is open, it is possible to inspect and maintain the inside of the pump,
such as the degasser, low-pressure gradient valve, and drain valve.

Valve mount door. When the door is open, it is possible to inspect and maintain the inside of
the autosampler, such as the measuring pump and low-pressure valve.

Column oven door. The door of the column oven. Open this door to install the column.
