Do not loosen any connector if the unit is still pres-
surised. Risk of injury due to spraying of oil.
Injuries may occur as a result of the hand lever
springing back. Do not remain in the area above the
hand lever. Never rest on the hand lever.
Loads that are raised by hydraulic means can fall
abruptly if the hydraulic system fails. Risk of injury.
Never overload the system. Never work under a rai-
sed load.
Incorrect loading can lead to damage. Do not exert
lateral load on the hand lever. Do not apply force to
the hand lever once the final position of the lever
has been reached. Do not extend the lever of the
hand pump.
In the second pressure stage of the pumps, it is
best to carry out short strokes using the hand lever
in order to reduce the force required.
Checklist – before every use
Serious or severe injuries if the device is not main-
tained or is in a poor condition.
For commissioning of the device, the following re-
quirements in the checklist must be inspected and
fulfilled

Mark the damaged parts and do not use the pump
any further. Any repairs should be carried out by
Schaeffler.
