Use of a featherboard to hold the workpiece
down is recommended to help prevent
kickback. i
Groove cuts are like Dado cuts and used
to create a slot or trench in the surface of
the workpiece. However, unlike Dado cuts,
a groove is cut parallel to the grain of the
workpiece.
Adjust blade elevation to desired cut depth.
Position fence at desired width and lock in
place.
Position workpiece flat on table and flush
against fence.
Make sure workpiece is not
touching the blade .
Turn on motor.
Use a push block to safely cut workpiece.
