Always retract the support shelf when 
the fence is over the table . If the 
support shelf touches the blade, the 
brake will activate .

low fence is attached to left side of rip fence.

A support shelf is included in the rip fence. 
Use the shelf to support material (A) when 
the table is extended. Turn the support shelf 
knob clockwise (B) to extend shelf. Retract 
shelf when fence is over table or extension 
table.
