Inquiry and adaptation of user adjustment values PAR (parameters)
The following tables provide information on the available user adjustment values. The adjustment value in the second column
(
) corresponds to the factory settings. The numbers in parentheses indicate the range within which the corresponding
adjustment value can be specified.

Slope of the heating characteristic
The heating characteristic specifies the setpoint of the secondary flow temperature dependent on the outdoor
temperature.
The heating characteristic is primarily determined by its base point T
I
(=PAR 1) and its slope.
For qualitative considerations, the following applies:
Small heating surfaces require higher flow temperatures, while large heating surfaces require lower flow
temperatures in order to provide a certain heat output.
Slope guidelines:
Hot-water radiator heating
1,4
Low-temperature heating
1,0
Floor heating system
0,6
After correcting base point or slope, the building (and probably the heating system) requires a certain period of
time to adjust itself to the correction value. Therefore, only one correction should be executed per day (refer
also to section "Adapting the heating characteristic").

A considerable number of the controller adjustment values refer to controller parametering. We therefore recommend that
the configuration sheets attached at the end of these operating instructions be completed/amended when changing PAR
adjustment values.
