5.5  Functions and options related to the LCD keypad 

On duty 

With this option enabled, the following message will be displayed after unlocking the door: 

 

If the entry / exit is connected with business duties, the user should press the 

 key. Suitable 

information  will  then  be  added  to  the  event  details.  This  information  is  useful,  if  the  user 
passes registered by the door module are to help in determining the work time of the users. 

Note:

  The  function  will  not  be  executed,  if  the  door  status  is  not  controlled  or  the  door  is 

open. 

Show user name on LCD 

If the option is enabled, the name of the user who unlocked the door will be displayed on the 
LCD keypad. 

Show user name on another LCD 

If the option is enabled, the name of the user who unlocked the door will be displayed on the 
other LCD keypad. 

Display format 

The  function  makes  it  possible  to  choose  how  the  time  and  date  will  be  displayed  on  the 
keypad screen. 

5.6  Backlight settings 

The rules of backlighting for the keys and display in LCD keypads / keypads connected to the 
module can be specified. The following options are available: 

  backlight off; 

  automatic backlight (switched on by pressing any key or presenting the card); 

  permanent backlight. 

5.7  Transmission format 

If  data  transmission  in  the  given  module  is  to  be  effected  in  the  Wiegand  26  format,  select

6.  Users 

It is possible to register 1024 users in the module. Each of the users is characterized by: 

Name

 – which facilitates identification of the users. It can consist of up to 16 characters.  

ID

 

number 

–  a  5-digit  number  assigned  to  the  user  during  the  procedure  of  adding  a  new 

user. 

Card 

– a passive transponder in the form of proximity card, key fob etc. authorizing the user 

to get access to the door. 

Note:

  You  cannot  assign  cards  to  the  users  by  means  of  the  terminal  units  with  Wiegand 

format  support,  which  are  connected  to  the  ACCO-KPWG  and ACCO-KPWG-PS 
modules. 

Code 

– a sequence of 4 to 12 digits authorizing the user to get access to the door.
