The LCD keypad can be connected to the module as a terminal unit. Connecting the LCD
keypad for the programming time only is also possible due to the RJ socket provided on the
electronics board.
The computer can communicate with the module in two ways:
1. RS-232. Connect the module port to the COM serial port of the computer by means of the
DB9FC/RJ cable manufactured by SATEL.
2. RS-485. Connect the module port to the bus connecting the modules into a system.
Connect the computer to the bus by means of the ACCO-USB converter manufactured by
SATEL (for description of the connection method, see the converter manual).
Programming by means of the ACCO-SOFT-LT should be done in the same way for both
communication methods.
5.1 Programming from LCD keypad
The LCD keypad makes it possible to configure the module as well as to add and remove
users in the module to which the LCD keypad is connected. Editing the access schedules is
not available in the LCD keypad.
Note:
Adding and removing users by means of the LCD keypad in case of the modules
operating within the access control system is not recommended.
The programming is carried out by means of functions available in the service mode. In order
to start the service mode, enter code of the user with A
DMINISTRATOR
authority and press the
key. Using the key designated

item in the menu which
will be displayed. When the display arrow indicates the a.m. item, press

The service mode is signaled by the
[SERVICE] LED lighting up.
5.1.1 Service mode menu
Navigation through the service mode menu is possible by means of the arrow keys and the

In order to enter the submenu or start the selected function, press the
