PRINT SETTINGS
ALL CLEAR: To clear all the print settings (see page 153). This does
not appear if no print settings have been made for the
image.
EXIT: To return to the Playback Setting Screen.

To return to the Playback Setting Screen, press the MODE button, or
select “EXIT” and press the SET button.

To print out a still image from a sequential shots sequence or video clip at a
digital print service shop, you must first copy the image and save it as a still
image (see page 126).

About the DPOF format

DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) is a print order format. It enables highly
efficient printing from digital cameras and allows DPOF-compatible digital
cameras to print out to DPOF-compatible printers.
About printing using a printer (PRINT Image Matching function)
œ
Your digital camera includes the PRINT Image Matching function, making it
easy to produce beautiful prints. Images are tagged with print commands at
the time they are photographed. By using your camera together with a
PRINT Image Matching-enabled printer, your photos can be printed with
the optimum colors of the photographed images as recorded by the digital
camera. For detailed information about the PRINT Image Matching function
and printing methods, etc., please refer to the instruction manuals for your
printer and computer.

The PRINT Image Matching standard specifies products that conform to
certain Print Commands and PRINT Image Matching corresponding to the
digital camera’s color data.
