SIM & PIN Lock

You can lock the use of the SIM card by enabling the PIN
code supplied with the card or restrict outgoing calls or
the use of other SIM cards. The following options are
available:

SIM Lock

: When this option is enabled, your PDA phone

only works with the current SIM. You must enter the
SIM lock code to use a different SIM card.

Before enabling or disabling the SIM Lock feature, you
must enter a SIM Lock password.

PIN Check

: When this option is enabled, you must enter

your PIN each time you switch the PDA phone on.
Consequently, any person who does not have your PIN
cannot use your PDA phone without your approval. You
must enter your PIN1 code before enabling or disabling
the PIN1.

Change PIN

: Before you use this option, make sure that

the PIN Check option is enabled. This option allows you
to change your current PIN1 to a new one. You must
enter the current PIN1 before you can specify a new
one.

Change PIN2

: This option allows you to change your

current PIN2 to a new one. You must enter the current
PIN2 before you can specify a new one.

FDN Mode

: When this option is enabled, your PDA phone

restricts your outgoing calls to a limited set of phone
numbers. You must enter your PIN2 code before
enabling or disabling FDN mode.
