2.2    Mounting Control Modules 

Mount control Modules in Slot 0 of the basic Chassis and the expansion Chassis.   
The locations of Slot 0 through slot 5 are described in ‘1. Chassis Configuration’ 
section of this chapter.

The procedure for mounting the MCP Module and the LCP Module to each slot is 
as follows: 
 
1)    Check the exterior of the MCP Module and the LCP Module for any damages.     
 

 

Check the power when mounting or dismounting Modules

 

 

Check if the Chassis power is off when mounting Modules on slots. Inserting or 
ejecting a Module while the power is on may damage the Module. 

 

 
2)    Align the MCP Module to the guardrails of slot 0 of the basic Chassis, and slide 

the MCP Module into the slot.
