Installing a Chassis

This chapter describes how to install an OfficeServ 7200 Chassis on the floor,

inside rack or on a wall depending on the installation environment.

System Installation Procedure

The procedure of system installation is as follows.

1) Install the OfficeServ 7200 Chassis on the floor, inside rack or on the wall

depending on the installation environment.

2) Earth to the ground lug behind the basic Chassis.
3) Put the MCP Module into the slot 0 of the basic Chassis. If there is an

expansion Chassis, mount the LCP Module into the slot 0 of the expansion
Chassis.

4)    Mount interface Modules into the universal slots (slot 1 through slot 5).
5)    Connect an external battery with proper capacity.
6)    Connect AC 110/220 V input power.

Selecting Installation Method

The OfficeServ 7200 Chassis can be installed on the floor, inside a 19-inch rack or

on a wall depending on the number of Chassis and environment of the installation
area.
