CHAPTER

The Windows Printing System Program Group

1-1

The Installation Program installs all necessary printer software on your PC, and
creates the Windows Printing System program group, which contains all print-
related items.

PCL Emulation Front Panel

Selecting this icon launches the PCL Emulation Front Panel application. 
Emulation of the HP LaserJet series II requires the ability to change some printing
parameters, such as the default alphabet font, which the PCL drivers do not support
via software.  HP printers rely on their Front Panel controls, which the ML-85G
plus does not have. Therefore, a stand-alone Front Panel application is provided so
you can select and send the appropriate commands to control these features.

Printer Help

Selecting this icon launches the Printer Help file. 
This is an additional means for you to access the Help files for Microsoft Windows

Printing System.

Printer Status Window

Selecting this icon launches the Printer Status window application.
