- Operating Instructions -

Clearing Paper Jams

▼

Open the Rear Cover.

▼

Open and reclose the Top Cover to cause the jammed paper to feed out

automatically.

▼

Pull out the paper.

▼

Close the Rear Cover. 

If the paper jam light stays on, open and reclose the Top Cover. This should
clear the paper jam indication.

If the Paper is Jammed in the Rear of the Printer

Faded Print

Faded print may be a faded area or a block of vertically aligned white streaks.
There are several conditions which can cause this to happen:

The Developer Cartridge may be getting low on toner. Shake the Cartridge gently
to redistribute the toner material, or replace the Developer Cartridge.

▼

The paper may not meet the media specifications. See Appendix A for detailed
specifications.
