Read Carefully: Store Name Notes
The STORE NAME you set in the System Option programming 18
th
page is used to identify program
and report data on the SD card. Note that the default store name is “STORE_A”.
If you are using the SD Card to move information to a PC or use the program or report data with the
PC Utility, you must pay close attention to the store name. Do not use characters such as “-” or “/”
that cannot be used in naming a folder on your PC. If you use such a character in your store name,
you will not be able to read the files on your PC.
The Store Name field is 8-characters in length. If the store name is set to less than 8-characters, the
5-digit register number will be combined with the store name to create a unique 8-character identifier.
For example, if the store name is “AAAAAA” and the register number is 05, the folder for the store
data (both the PGMBACK and the REPBACK) will be named “AAAAAA05”; if the store name is
“DDD” and the register number is “12345”, the folder name will be “DDD12345”.
