Setting Frequency Range
The frequency range refers to the frequency span of device Measure and the frequency resolution of S3601 Series vector Network
Analyzer is 1Hz. The whole frequency range includes several wave bands, and when frequency Sweep passes through switching
points of these wave bands or sweeps the highest frequency of setting for retracing Sweep, the power input to DUT will be adjusted
to minimum to prevent oversized peak power from burning up DUT. If the frequency range of Sweep only consists of one wave band,
the power will be kept unchanged at retracing Sweep. The frequency range of every wave band of Analyzer is shown as follows:
Table 4-2 Wave Band Division of S3601 Series
Wave Band
S3601 A Frequency Range

100kHz~5MHz
100kHz~8MHz
B1

Setting Frequency Range
There are two methods of setting frequency range:
Designating start frequency and stop frequency
Designating center frequency and frequency span
4.3.1.1.
Setting start frequency and stop frequency
By mouse or touch screen
1) Single click [Stimulus], point to [Freq] in Stimulus menu, and single click menu item of [Start/Stop…] to display Frequency
Start/ Stop dialog box.
2) Single click [Start] and input start frequency value.
3) Single click [Stop] and input stop frequency value.
4) Single click [OK] to close the dialog box after the setting is completed.
