RADIO – THE USE OF THE FM RADIO
Select the
FM
radio mode with the
DVD-USB/RADIO
button. To start the automatic
tuning and storing, press the
SCAN
button shortly. After finishing the adjustment, the
device sets on the first found program. The additionally found programmes can be
accessed be pressing the
UP/DOWN
button shortly.
• Search stops when it detects a variable signal strength - this does not always indicate
radio broadcasts.
• The reception of the radio depends to a great extent on the location of use and the
current reception conditions.
• To improve the reception of the built-in antenna, place the unit to get the best radio
reception! Gently pull the back antenna fully out.
WIRELESS BT CONNECTION
The device can be paired with other devices that communicate with BT protocol, within a
range of up to 10 meters. After that, you can listen to music played on your mobile phone,
tablet, notebook, and other similar devices. Use the
DVD-USB / RADIO
button to select the
BT
function (dual beeps). In the instruction manual for the device to be paired, find the
nearby wireless
BT
wireless devices, including this speaker. Connect the two devices
together. A successful pairing is acknowledged by an acoustic signal. The desired program
will then be heard on the loudspeaker. The playback player's program (e.g. mobile phone)
can usually be remotely controlled by pressing the
PREV / NEXT
button briefly.
• One speaker can be paired wirelessly with one BT appliance at the same time.
• Actual operation range depends on the other device and environmental conditions.
• In case of the wireless connection would lost, if necessary, keep pressing the DVD-
USB/RADIO button until accessing the BT function again and the pairing mode
reactivates.
• If the connected mobile phone receives call during music playback, music playing will
be paused. After the conversation has finished, restart the playing on the phone.
WIRELESS MICROPHONE
The wireless microphone shipped together with the stage cabinet, operates with 2 x AA
(1,5 V) batteries. Apply durable, alkali batteries. To replace the battery, unscrew the lower
half of the grip and observe the marked polarity, insert the batteries.
Set the side switch into
ON
position on the grip. The volume of the wired and wireless
microphones can be set by
M.VOL
regulator equally. In both case, echo effect can be set by
the
ECHO
regulator. Priority of voice announcement; microphone priority
PRIORITY
button:
in case of MP3 playback, holding the button pressed, the wireless microphone will be given
priority over MP3 music from the USB SD source, which pauses.
With the accessory brackets the unused microphones can be fixed to the holders on the
side of the stage cabinet.
• Switching the slide switch into middle STDBY position will mute, but will not switch off
the microphone.
• The range in open terrain is ca. 20 metres.
• The LED on the grip lights, when batteries are discharged and need to be replaced.
• The receiver antenna of the microphone is integrated into the stage cabinet. The
position of the speaker may affect reception quality and range. The actual range
depends on the ambient conditions. (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electrical
equipment, movement ...)
• Do not move the microphone in your hand, because it may affect the sound quality!
• The actual frequency can be found on the label placed on the microphone’s grip.
• If you don’t use the microphone for a long period of time, remove the batteries!
• Abnormal operation, noise may be caused by nearby radio equipment, this does not
indicate the failure of the stage cabinet.
• Battery replacement can only be done by an adult! Remove the discharged battery
immediately from the device! If fluid spilled from it, then pick up protective gloves and
clean the battery compartment with dry clothes! Do not open, fire or short circuit
batteries! Non-rechargeable batteries should not be charged! Risk of explosion!
CLEANING
Power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric outlet before cleaning! Use a dry cloth.
Do not use an aggressive cleaners and liquids!
MAINTANCE
Occasionally check the integrity of the power cable and the housing. Immediately power off
the unit and contact a specialist in case of any anomaly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of detecting any malfunction, switch off and power off the device by unplugging it
from the electric outlet! Try to switch on again later. If the problem still persists, see the
following list. This guide will help you to identify the error, if the device is connected as
prescribed. If necessary, contact a professional!
General
Device doesn’t work, the POWER LED doesn’t light.
• Amplifier is not switched on.
- Check the position of the POWER switch at the back of the device.
• Power cable has not connected properly.
- Check the plugging of the power cable to the unit and the wall socket outlet.
• The fuse is melted.
- Check the fuse block of a specialist and replace it if necessary.
The device seems to work, but it does not sound out.
• Volume control is not proper.
- Check the volume control of the device and external device as well, these should not
be set to minimum position.
• Connection of audio cables is wrong.
- Check if the audio cables are correctly connected, and their wiring conforms to the
standards.
MP3 playback
It does not play files from the correct media.
• The USB and SD signal sources are connected at the same time, but not the desired
one is selected.
- Press shortly the DVD-USB/RADIO button.
The MP3 playback does not work.
• A write error has occurred. The MP3 format is incompatible.
- Make sure if the MP3 format is proper.
• Contact problem with the USB/SD slot.
- Check if there is no foreign object in the connector. Carefully clean with a dry brush if
necessary.
- Incorrect (e.g. sloping or coarse) connection may cause problems with the touch.
Reconnect the external unit.
• Wrong or non-standard external memory unit.
- Due to production scattering, there may be differences between the USB / SD /
SDHC / MMC memory devices of the same type that affect the use.
Playback is noisy.
• A write error has occurred. The MP3 format is incompatible.
- Make sure your MP3 format is correct.
• A media problem or a contact error occurred at the connection.
- Check the compliance of the data file and connect it.
• A data copy error has occurred.
- Check the applied compression software and the computer.
WARNINGS
• Please read the instructions carefully before use, and keep it to have it available in the
future!
• Do not connect the cable during operation! Do not perform on/off switching with high
volume, since the noise generated this time can ruin the speakers!
• In order to protect audio system from external noise, lead the cables far from the power
network cables!
• Do not cover the device, ensure the free flow of air by locating it! Do not put the
backside of it right next to wall! Keep a distance of minimum 20 cm! The warming of the
backside is natural phenomenon.
• After you finished use, turn it off with POWER switch and unplug the power cable from
the outlet!
• The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power
plug! Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally or
tripped over! Do not lead the power cable under carpets, doormats etc.!
• Due to the presence of the mains voltage comply with the usual rules to protect life! It is
forbidden to touch the unit or the connection cable with wet hands!
• The appliance may only be connected to 230V ~/50 Hz electric standard wall outlets.
• Replacement of fuses may only be done by professionals after disassembly.
• Protect it from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, dampness, frost, shock and direct thermal
radiation or sunshine! Use only indoor, in dry circumstances!
• Use only under dry, indoor conditions!
• Make sure that no foreign objects or liquids can get through the openings.
• Do not expose the device to splashing water and do not place objects, filled with liquids
e.g.: glass on it!
• Do not place any open flame sources such as burning candles on the unit!
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories, because it can
cause fire, accident or electric shock!
• Immediately turn off the unit if there are any defects, and contact a professional!
• Do not connect a mobile phone to the USB socket for charging purposes!
• Incorrect operation may occur due to compressed files, the compressor used and the
SD / USB memory quality, which is not the shortage of the device.
• It is not guaranteed to play copyright protected DRM files!
• Not even the supported files are guaranteed to be played, because of the software and
hardware circumstances which are not related to the manufacturer.
• There may be differences between the volume and sound quality of different audio files,
due to their different parameters.
• The manufacturer does not take responsibility for the loss or damage of data etc. even
if the data etc. gets lost during the use of the device. It is recommended to make a copy
of the data and tracks to your personal computer prior the use of the device.
• It is not recommended using USB / SD memory cards larger than 32GB because your
handling may slow down or get stuck. It only stores playable files on external memory,
the presence of foreign data / files can slow down the operation or cause confusion.
• Speakers contain magnets, so do not place such objects near them which are sensitive
to magnetic field (e.g.: credit card, cassette, compass …)
• This product is made for household use, not for industrial.
• There is no warranty for the failures, resulting from improper installation or irresponsible
use.
