Ignition Switch
Start switch
Lock-
The steering wheel is
locked.
ACC
- Some electrical equipment
such as radio, Cigarette lighter
and clock can be used when the
engine is off.
ON-
All the warning lights are
turned on and you can control
their function.
START-
In the start position
the engine will be started, after
starting the engine release the
switch.
PUSH-
Turn off the engine push
the switch and remove it.
Notes which should be
considered before starting the
engine:
-Make sure that the parking brake
is engaged.
-Shift the gear selector to neutral
position.
-When starting the engine, push
the clutch pedal all the way down
to prevent gearbox gears rotating.
Start position
In the start position the engine will
be started and by releasing the
switch, it will return to ON position.
If the ignition key is not turning in
the lock cylinder, it is due to the
force on the steering wheel. In
this case, to release the steering
wheel, turn it slightly to the left or
right and then turn the key.
To set the switch in the lock
position, push in the ignition key in
ACC position while turning the key
toward the lock position.

Caution
- When the vehicle is in motion, do
not turn the ignition switch into the
LOCK or ACC position.
Do not hold the switch on start
position more than ten seconds,
release the switch and wait ten
seconds and start again. after
starting the engine release the
switch
Starting the vehicle
1- Make sure that the parking
brake is engaged.
2- Hold the clutch pedal to the
floor and shift the gear selector to
neutral position. When starting the
engine, push the clutch pedal all
the way down.
3-
Turn and hold the switch in the
start position until the engine starts
within ten seconds.
In very cold weather when the
temperature is lower than 18°c
or when the engine has been off
for several days, it is necessary
to allow the engine warms up
sufficiently. This must be done
without pressing the accelerator
pedal. To start the engine in warm
or in cold condition, do not push
the accelerator pedal.
