Use of the PCD7.D23x terminals for the whole PCD range

1.3.2 Configuration for several terminals (mixing is not possible)
A - with several RS 232 ports (with or without RTS/CTS)

Up to 6 x RS 232 ports according to the types of PCD.
PCD7.D23x setup (recommended):
(see also chapter 3)
Same Baudrate and serial mode for all terminals
Baudrate:
9600 or 19200 bps
Serial mode:
RS 232 with RTS/CTS or without RTS/CTS depending
of the number of RS 232 interfaces with full control that
you can connect to your PCD.
Use of HMI-Editor V 1.3 (recommended):
Terminal type:
D230 with 8 x 20 (or D231 or D232)
Terminal topology:
Multipoint terminal
Number of channels:
xx (up to 6)
Serial line:
1 to 6 corresponding to the number of terminals.
Type of serial line:
RS 232
Baudrate:
9600 or 19200 bps
Handshake:
RTS/CTS or None
Hardware connection (recommended):
Connection cable (length: 2.5 m) between
PCD and PCD7.D23x: PCD7.K423 (with RTS/CTS)
Connection cable (length: 2.5 m) between PCD and PCD7.D23x: PCD7.K422 (with-
