Hold child restraint at the belt path
with your weakest hand.
Push and pull from side to side.
If it moves more than 2.5 cm (1 in.),
try reinstalling the child restraint or
try another seating location.
When installed rear facing

recheck the level lines to make
sure it is reclined according to your
child’s weight.
When installed forward facing
,
make sure to tighten the tether
strap.
Remove the locking clip when
the seat belt is not being used
with a child restraint.
