Necessary diligence of the operator
Please keep this operation manual carefully field and handy at the locations
where the filter will be used.
Please follow generally effective legal and other binding regulations with regard
to the prevention of accidents and the protection of the environment as a sup-
plement to this operation manual. Such binding regulations may e.g. equally con-
cern the use of hazardous materials or the availability/wearing of personal protec-
tive equipment.
Ensure that these operating instructions are supplemented by further instructions
including the supervisory and report duties taking into consideration particular
operational features, e.g. regarding the structuring of operations, operational se-
quences and the staff employed.
Prior to starting their work, the personnel in charge of the operation of the ma-
chine must have read the operating instructions and in particular the chapter
„Safety Rules“ in detail. This will particularly apply to any personnel working only
occasionally at the filter, e.g. while setting it up or maintaining it. At least some
time or other, the staff should be controlled if they were in fact working in a safety
relevant manner, being fully aware of possible dangers and following the operat-
ing instructions.
Please follow all the instructions at the filter with regard to safety and dangers.
In case of any safety-relevant modifications regarding the filter or operational per-
formance, the filter has be to be shut down immediately and report this malfunc-
tion to the competent department.
No modifications, attachments or alterations may be carried out at the filter with-
out obtaining the relevant permission from Georg Schünemann GmbH first. This
will equally apply to the installation and the adjustment of safety devices and
safety valves as well as the welding at pressurized vessel.
Any spare parts must comply with the technical requirements stipulated by the
manufacturer, which will always be guaranteed for genuine spare.
The program of the programmable control systems must never be modified.
At any rate, the time intervals for recurrent tests/inspections laid down or indicat-
ed in the operating instructions should be kept.
An adequate protective clothing and workshop outfit for the maintenance work
will be absolutely indispensable.
