Check of proper terminating of flushing
The flushing valve closes some seconds after the flushing disc is moved back in-
to the initial position. The LCD display at the control indicates
“F450“ and “Filtra-
tion” in the change with the remaining interval time T1.
4.6.4
Adjustment of flushing interval T1 at the electronic control
Change the adjustment only if it should be optimized. Wait for operational expe-
rience!
Adjust flushing interval after operational experience. We recommend 50% of the
time of the flushings caused by differential pressure (see also notice,
“hint to op-
timize the filtration
”). The time intervals between the differential pressure caused
flushings can be read out from the differential pressure memory (see Table 4-1).
Hint to optimize the filtration
The intervals of the flushings caused by differential pressure should be relatively
constant in the operation. Then a reduction of the flushing interval triggered by
timing to approx. 50% of this time is recommended (e.g.: triggering by differen-
tial pressure all 6 hours, adjust interval for time-steered filtration to 3 hours)!
Thus, a strong allocation of the strainer insert during operation is prevented. A
possibly manual cleaning of the filter (e.g. with high pressure cleaner) is definite-
ly more rarely necessary!
In case of cleaning the strainer insert with a high pressure cleaner is to be paid
attention to an appropriate distance!
Otherwise the strainer insert can be damaged by a too high pressure!

Optional: Lead time for flushing T4 and flushing valve end position control
T5 (throttle time)
Optional a lead time T4 can be adjusted in the control system, e.g. for a run-up of
the natural water pump before filter flushing.
With the adjustment “0“ seconds the
pre-flushing time is deactivated.
Optional the flushing valve can be equipped with an end position control.
In this case the control time T5 (throttle time) is activated, at flushing valves with-
out control of the end positions the control time T5 is deactivated with the ad-
justment “0“ seconds.

rror message “Throttle error“.
The control time is presetted factory-made.
