Preferences Dialog
The
Preferences
dialog allows you to set application, device and channel options for RVONedit.
The Preferences dialog has four pages:
•
Catalog page
- Allows you to set display options for the device catalog, such as the way RVON devices are seen.
•
Devices page
- Allows you to set options for device preferences, such as auto-connecting and displaying device
configuration areas.
•
Channels page
- Allows you to set options for channel configurations such as, column and row adjustments and
display options for RVON-1 aux channel.
•
Directories page
- Allows you to set file locations for save and load directory defaults
You can also open preferences by selecting
Edit>Preferences
, by pressing
Alt+Enter
, or clicking the preferences icon
.
Password field
Passwords can be up to 40-characters long.

In the Password field, enter a
valid password
.
Remember for
this device check
box
The Remember for this device check box allows you to set the default user name or password used
anytime a user is logging onto the specified RVON device.
Select
the Remember for this device check box to have RVONedit remember the user name or
password for future logon attempts.
Clear
the Remember for this device check box to disable this option.
Use as default for
all devices check
box
The Use as default for all devices check box allows you to set the default user name or password for
all devices in RVONedit.
Select
the Use as default for all devices check box to have RVONedit remember the user name or
password for future logon attempts.
Clear
the Use as default for all devices check box to disable this option.
