Adjusting the Eightpins seat post
On lowerable seat posts, the seat height is
adjusted using a special-purpose height
adjustment mechanism. On the lowerable seat
post, the maximum seat height is reached when
the seat post is automatically extended as far as
it will go.
The actuator for the height adjustment
mechanism is located in the head of the seat
post. You will need a 2.5 mm Allen key to adjust
the seat height. This is inserted into the
corresponding hole on the head of the seat post.
Rotate the rotary element through 45° in an anti-
clockwise direction in order to unlock the height
adjustment mechanism.

Next, press the thumb shifter on the handlebars
(left) to shift the seat post up or down.
Once the seat is at the optimum seat height, let
go of the thumb shifter. Allow the seat post to
click into the set position. You will now need to
lock the height adjustment mechanism again.
To do so, rotate the rotary element through 45° in
a clockwise direction.
