5. Perpendicularity
The crosscut fence and the parallel fence aren’t a perfect 90° in relation to each other. The sliding
table opens slightly to the left (+/- 0.1mm) to prevent back cutting. The parallel fence opens slightly
to the right (-/+ 0.1mm). To check this, you have to saw a piece against the parallel fence. You can
hear the back cutting during the sawing. The returning saw teeth may not touch the panel. Verifier the
settings of the riving knife. The riving knife needs to have the right thickness ([width sawblade tooth +
thickness blade]/2) and needs to be lined out correctly. The parallel fence can be set by changing the
fixing bolts (3 x M16).
To adjust the sliding table, you have to loosen the 4 fixing bolts. There are 2 setting bolts on the side
of the sliding table to adjust the position of the sliding table. After the settings, you have to retighten
the 4 fixing bolts (70Nm).

To verifier the Perpendicularity of the machine, you have to do a cutting test. Take a panel with
thickness min. 18mm, 2400mm x 1200mm. make a cut on the short side of the panel and place
this side against the crosscut fence. Now make a cut on both long sides. The maximum difference
between both sides is 0.5mm. If needed, adjust the crosscut fence (procedure in manual).
