Belt tension and speed changing
(Fig.28-29)
Always select the correct speed according to your saw blade diameter. To change the speed, first
loosen the clamping lever (29.1). Then raise the motor via the handle (29.2). Now the belt can be
placed in the desired slots (fig. 28). The highest speed is achieved with the belt closest to the saw.
Verify that the speed detection fork is in the correct position (see also “Optical speed display”).
Then lower the motor until the belt has the correct tension. A properly tensioned belt can be pressed
in the middle under slight pressure over approximately the thickness of the belt. A belt that is too tight
leads to damage to bearings and premature wearing of the belt.
Check the condition of the belt regularly and change if necessary (order number: NXPA800). Only use
Robland replacement parts.

Belt tension and speed changing
scoring saw
(Fig.30)
To tension the scoring saw belt loosen the two nuts (1-2) which hold the motor, push the motor down,
tighten the two nuts while holding the motor down.
To change the belt remove the motor completely. When the belt is replaced, but before tensioning it,
ensure that it is correctly seated into the grooves of both pulleys.
