SETTING THE CHARGE CURRENT
This parameter allows the user to set the charge
current. The parameter is selected by pressing the
“ENTER” button. The desired charge current can
now be set using the “+” / “-” buttons or the
“SELECT WHEEL”. A further press on the “ENTER” button accepts your selected value.
The maximum charge current varies according to the cell count and / or the battery volt-
age. The charger’s integral processor limits the maximum charge current.
SETTING THE DISCHARGE CURRENT
This parameter allows the user to set the discharge
current. The parameter is selected by pressing the
“ENTER” button. The desired discharge current can
now be set using the “+” / “-” buttons or the
“SELECT WHEEL”. A further press on the “ENTER” button accepts your selected value.
The maximum discharge current varies according to the cell count and / or the battery
voltage. The charger’s integral processor limits the maximum discharge current.
SETTING THE BATTERY TYPE AND THE CELL COUNT
If a BID chip / key is not connected, you can set the
battery type and the cell count at this point. If a BID
chip / key is connected, the data is simply displayed
on-screen. Pressing the “ENTER” button selects the
first parameter ‘Battery type’, and you can now make your selection using the “+” / “-”
buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”. Pressing the “ENTER” button accepts your selected
value, and automatically moves on to the second parameter ‘Cell count’. Once again you
can now set the desired cell count using the “+” / “-” buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”.
To conclude the process you must press the “ENTER” button in order to accept your
selected values.
SwITCHING THE BUTTON BEEP ON AND OFF
It is possible to switch the button beep on oroff.
Pressing the “ENTER” button selects the parame-
ter, and you can now switch the beep on and off
using the “+” / “-” buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”.
