DISCHARGING A 2S LIPO BATTERY wITHOUT BID CHIP / KEY
1. Connect the primary power leads (+/-) and the voltage sensor lead. Take care to
maintain correct polarity; see page 31.
2. Set the battery type and the cell count
Pressing the “ENTER” button selects the first
parameter ‘Battery type’; you can now select the
appropriate type using the “+” / “-” buttons or the
“SELECT WHEEL”. A further press on the “ENTER” button accepts your selected value,
and automatically selects the second parameter ‘Cell count’. Here again you can select
the appropriate number of cells using the “+” / “-” buttons or the “SELECT WHEEL”.
Finally press the “ENTER” button to accept the selected data.
3. Set the discharge current
Press the “ENTER” button to select the desired
parameter; you can now set the appropriate dis-
charge current using the “+” / “-” buttons or the
“SELECT WHEEL”. Press the “ENTER” button once
more to accept the selected data.
4. Pressing the “MODE” button twice within about one second now sets the “DIS-
CHARGE” function, and the discharge process starts about two seconds later.
