INSTALLATION
OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The boiler is equipped with an outdoor temperature sensor that periodically measures the outdoor temperature.
Thanks to this sensor the boiler adjusts its settings automatically depending on the outside weather
temperature.
This sliding temperature regulation is available in “AUTO mode” - the relation between the flow temperature and
the outdoor temperature is pre-set on the PCB. The sensor is located on the air inlet pipe and must not be
moved or altered.
ROOM THERMOSTAT

Together with the Rinnai remote controller any room thermostat (other brand) can be used to control the boiler.
The Rinnai remote controller cannot be unplugged even if a room thermostat (other brand) has been installed.

Prior to install the device unplug the boiler.

loosen the two latches in the upper part of the front panel of the
boiler and unscrew the two screws at the bottom;

remove the front panel carefully to preserve the pressure gauge
- lift up the panel and then separate it from the boiler;

remove the PCB protection cover;

connect the “blue” cable to the CN14 pin on the PCB;

insert the cable through the proper hole in the bottom part of the
casing;

connect the room thermostat to the cable; make sure that the
device contact is “normally open”, otherwise the “Service mode”
parameter nr.10 must be changed (refer to the “Service mode”
section - Maintenance part of the manual);

close the PCB protection cover and the front panel;

plug the boiler;

press the CH button ( ) and make sure the boiler operates in
“Flow temperature mode”; check if it operates normally.
