To start paper feed, the machine turns on the paper feed clutch,
and the paper feed roller rotates.
The friction pad ensures that only the top sheet is fed.
When the paper activates the registration sensor, the paper feed
clutch turns off.
When the toner image on the transfer belt is at the correct
position, the registration clutch turns on to feed the paper to the
image transfer unit.
