Notes Concerning the LED Array
Image position adjustment
Horizontal (main scan): Adjusted by moving the image
position
Vertical (sub scan): The timing for the start of writing is
changed.
There are no mechanical adjustments.
Start timing can be adjusted
LED light intensity
An EEPROM on the LED head contains data which controls
the light intensity of each element.
There is no adjustment.
Adjustment after replacement
The EEPROM on the new LED array contains data on the
characteristics of the LED array. No adjustment is needed
by the technician.
