
14. User Access code
When your service representative selects Accounting mode (

142), you can use the following functions.
Your service representative can also turn on Security Accounting mode (
☛
see page 142). In Security Accounting mode, selected key operators can
use all the functions below and free operators can only check the number of
copies made using their user code.

Set Code
Register
You can register your user code. (maximum: 8
digits)

Up to 500 user codes can be registered.
❐
If you try to enter a previously set code, the
display will instruct you to enter another code.
❐
Registered codes will be sorted in numerical
order.
Correct
You can change your present user code to a new
one.
❐
The number of copies made under the old code
is added to that made under the new user code.
Delete
Single Code
You can delete one user code.
Range
You can delete your desired range of codes.
All
You can delete all user access codes.

The number of copies made under the deleted
code is also deleted.
Display
Single Code
You can check or reset the number of copies made using one
user code.
Range
You can check or reset the number of copies made using your
desired range of user codes.
All
You can check or reset the number of copies made using all
user codes.
